To many, the idea of spending over 60 days crossing 3,000 miles of the Atlantic in a rowing boat would be immediately dismissed. However, in late 2023 and into early 2024, Oar Mighty Mates; a two-man team from Kent, England, will take on the World’s Toughest Row Atlantic Challenge.
Stuart Hatcher and Andy Purvis will compete in the challenge to raise money for three charities: Dementia UK, Sporting Memories and Bright Shadow, all who play a vital role in supporting those living with Alzheimer’s and Dementia, a cause that’s close to both teammates’ hearts.
